The Onze Rust crest carries the school colours of royal blue and orange — representing excellence, integrity, and the warm spirit of our community. The crest is proudly worn on every school uniform.
The school badge is a symbol of belonging, pride, and the values that Onze Rust stands for. Every learner who wears this badge represents not just themselves, but the entire Onze Rust family.

The energetic, loveable chilli mascot of Onze Rust Primary School. Rissie embodies the school's spirit: spicy with enthusiasm, bold in character, and warm at heart.
A familiar face at events, sports days, and cultural performances — bringing energy and school pride to everything Onze Rust does. The name "Rissie" reflects both the Afrikaans word for chilli and the playful, spirited nature of our learners.
Our beloved mascot came to life for the very first time when Bakang Kgware — 2025 Head Boy of Onze Rust — wore the very first Rissie Rascal costume. A proud chapter in our school's story.
