Rissies for Jesus is the spiritual heartbeat of Onze Rust — a programme through which our learners live out their faith in practical, meaningful ways. Named after our beloved mascot Rissie Rascal, it embodies the school's commitment to Christian values and community service.
Through the VCSV/UCSA worship sessions, the Rooi Rissies meal programme, and regular devotional activities, learners develop a personal faith and a heart for service.
The school's Christian foundation is a non-negotiable — not just in policy, but lived out daily in how we treat one another and the world around us.
"Each learner is expected to maintain and respect Christian norms, values and character — not because it is a rule, but because it is who we are."
